The moment a window becomes a mirror

photography-window-to-mirror56 Minutes (after Kawabata) Spring

This series of photographs might look like a fade in or an overlay of two images in Photoshop.  It is simply a series of photos of the a single window. Finch captures the moment that happens everyday around the time the sun sets where a window goes from looking onto the outside where the light is brighter to when the window begins to reflect the stronger light inside because light outside grows dim.

Each of these photographs capture everyday happenings that we glance over all the time. It goes to show that there is so much in these mundane events that could spark a thought that we never considered before.

These photographs do not belong to me. They belong rightfully to Spencer Finch.
