The Winter Chronicle

A seasonal invitation to notice, create, and respond.

Winter Submissions open now

The Winter Chronicle is an invitation to create in conversation with the season of winter, guided by Into Winter as a companion.

Opening space for artists, writers, musicians, dancers, thinkers, feelers - anyone moved by the shifting world - to respond through their own medium to the question:

What is this moment saying to you?

In a fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose track of the subtle shifts - to move through a season without fully meeting it.

The Winter Chronicle exists as a pause.

A place to listen more closely.

A return to the self, through making.

There is no pressure to be profound or polished.

This is a shared, collaborative space to create something simply because it wants to be made - and to see what unfolds when others do the same.

Something unfinished.

Something tiny.

Something full.

Something complete.

All forms are welcome.

Submissions may be inspired directly by Into Winter or by your own lived experience of the winter season while moving alongside it.

Throughout the season, selected submissions may be shared on social as part of the living winter reflection, and some may be included in the Winter Chronicle Archive - a long-form, online collection held on this site.

At the season’s close, the archive becomes a record of what moved through us together - a shared document of winter as it was felt, noticed, and expressed.

Winter submissions are open through March 18, 2026.

After that, we’ll meet again for the Spring Chronicle.

Let this be a space to soften,

to express,

to co-create a document of the present moment - together.
